Duck pond gets reprieve from drought
Near and dear to my heart, this pond (in Knoxville Tennessee where I grew up) has been drying up due to the drought in the South.
Everything you see below the line of trees used to be water; the pond has been there as long as anyone can remember; I have fished it occasionally.
Locals have taken action to save 50-75 resident ducks and this pond by getting it refilled.
