Hi! These portrait are wonderful!! I especially like the close-up of Oxygen. Now that my major satellite problems are behind me, I hope, I will be actively looking for more horse blogs to invite to the BLOG VILLAGE Equine Webring. There are several in the VILLAGE that were interested at the same time you joined. Thank you for joining!!!

I love the portraits, they are wonderful. I am enyious lol. I love horses with a passion but never get to ride or even be close to one. Its sites like yours that keep me in touch with them and remembering the feeling of freedom riding brings.
    Thanks

Hi! Your art is wonderful!! I have been drawing horses for about three years
and my art is nowhere near as good as yours. If you’d like, I can see if I can e-mail youa copy of my work. Also, a good site for ideas, look for The Unicorn Lady. She has some good works.

    Hello HeidiAnn
Please DO email a copy of your work, I would like to see! When I was very young all I ever drew was horses, that is how I learned to draw! I started by tracing them from comic books about Fury and Silver and Champion. That dates me, doesn’t it? Keep on drawing, as much as you can all the time!

I’m exploring Blog Village. Your paintings are outstanding. You seem to capture not just the appearance, but the spirit of the subjects, both horse and human. Do you ever paint dogs?
