Meet Hubby Moses

AKA Dad, carriage driver, horse lover and rider, he who has made the Family Herd financially possible, Connie’s husband.

Dad grew up with backyard horses and learned to ride by the seat of his pants. Lots of bareback riding practice gave him good balance, plus he has good horse sense. Formerly a research scientist for Duracell, Dad commuted for years from Windham in southern NH to Needham, Massachusetts, finding time to play with horses whenever possible.

Then Hubby took an early retirement to move to Gilford, where Willy mare had her two sons and where he and Connie spend more time now riding and driving together. Hubby also spends time upkeeping his restored 1935 GarWood motor boat, snowboarding, hiking, gardening, cooking, baking bread and generally enjoying life. And in his spare time, he is involved in Gilford Rotary, the Gilford Thompson-Ames Historical Society, and serves as an elected town official.
