A little late posting I know, but something else we enjoyed with Antoine, our exchange student from Liege, Belgium. Don’t tell anyone– we let Antoine play hookey from school and took him with friends Bob and Martha to Mount Sunapee.

In March, our favorite boy from Belgium, foreign exchange student Antoine, got to go skiing with us in the morning, have a carriage ride with us at midday, and then played golf with Hubby in the afternoon. Where else but in New Hampshire can a person find that kind of variety all in one day?

Our horses get to be pretty lazy all winter… they wander around a lot pawing in the snow for leaves and acorns, and make their little paths in the fields. THis past winter they were pretty bored because we fenced them away from the trees they love to chew on.

Although we trim our own horses’ hooves, we like to get an evaluation visit by a professional trimmer at least yearly. This assures us we are not getting off track, or that something isn’t happening that we are missing.

Antoine joined our family just before Christmas for a few months. He is from Liege, Belgium, an exchange student sponsored by the local Rotary Club. Antoine is our fifth student to date, and he really gets along well here.
