One in my new "Foal Series" of horse art prints, this expressive watercolor is based on my own Polish Arabian mare with her newest warmblood foal Glendale, born August 18, 2005. I plan several paintings of mares and foals in the series-- all will be offered as giclee prints.

At 5 am. I was struck not only by their already-close communication, but by the first light of day coming in through the stall window. After spending his birth night with this colt, I was exhausted and ecstatic all at once.
